Complimentary webinar: FBT SURVEY – THE RESULTS WEBINAR
Wednesday, September 22, 2021 1:00 PM – 2:00 PM AEST
The overwhelming message from the survey was the abolition of FBT – either overall or for small business only. Whilst this was not surprising, what interested me most was the “themes” for FBT reform (on the basis that FBT will not be abolished any day soon).
In this complimentary webinar I will share all of the survey results and discuss:
- The easy “fixes” for entertainment benefits;
- Adopting / borrowing some of the key features of the New Zealand FBT regime;
- The overhaul required to the taxing rules / exemption rules for Tool of Trade and Work Related Vehicles;
- Changes needed to the current exemptions in the Not for Profit industry;
- Bringing back some sanity to the Living Away From Home rules;
- Creating greater flexibility and higher thresholds to the Minor Benefits exemption;
- Updating and modernising some of the FBT exemptions;
- Administration fixes required for the FBT framework; and
- Much more
I hope you can join me. The webinar is complimentary and only requires name and email to register by clicking on the link below. All registrants will receive a copy of our FBT SURVEY REPORT.
If you are unable to attend Live, we will send you a copy of the recording (and the REPORT) the next day.

The ATO are currently undertaking motor vehicle data matching activities with some of Australia’s largest Salary Packaging and Fleet Management companies.
In the webinar I discussed how you can identify if you have an FBT exposure (and dispel a few myths in doing so) and the key steps you can take to manage your FBT exposure.
