ATO releases new car parking threshold for for the 2027 FBT year.
The ATO recently announced the new car parking rates threshold for 2027 but well after the key date of 1 April 2026. The new rate is $11.48, up from $11.03 for the 2026 FBT year.
I personally find it a bit strange that the threshold rate is always released well after the threshold test date. Makes it a bit hard for employers and their accountants.
